Those who know me know… I LOVE me some potatoes! All kinds of potatoes – baked, mashed, smashed, fried, roasted, and on and on and on. These air fryer roasted potatoes quickly became one of my favorites!

I really didn’t fully understand the air fryer hype. The last thing I wanted was one more appliance sitting on the counter. Most models are bulky and quite frankly, kind of ugly. But not the Bagotte air fryer! It fits right into my very cool kitchen. Love it!

Let’s get to the air fryer roasted potatoes. I’ve got an amazing roasted potato recipe here that I spent years perfecting. It is labor-intensive and time-consuming, but SO delish! I was reluctant to adapt my recipe to the air fryer.

Ha!! All I can say is… wow! So quick and easy and absolutely as delicious as my original roasted potato recipe. And only 15 minutes in the air fryer. Truly amazing!

How to make air fryer roasted potatoes

Making air fryer roasted potatoes couldn’t be easier! Dice up some red or yellow potatoes and an onion. Put in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and pop in your air fryer basket. Cook for 15 min, tossing halfway. (FULL RECIPE BELOW).

That’s it! Gone are the days of parboiling, soaking, or pre-treating your potatoes in any way just to get that perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside texture.

Air fryer roasted potatoes really do come out perfect every time. And it takes virtually no work and about 1/4 the time I used to spend on making perfect potatoes. Whew…. thanks Bagotte for making such an amazing machine! (Love the touchscreen and knob control combo!)

And don’t stop with just potatoes! Try some air fryer Brussels sprouts and creamy air fryer mac and cheese (Yes you read that correctly! Mac and cheese!) Yum!
