Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes | Easy AND Healthy
Well, I’m a little late to the air fryer game. But BOY have I made up for lost time and these Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes are what SOLD me!
I’d like to thank Bagotte for sending me this amazing large 5.8 quart 1700 Watt stainless steel air fryer so I could give it a try! It’s sleek, attractive, and large enough to feed the family! (Check it out here and enter code QBDMI45M to get 21% off for a limited time!)
Those who know me know… I LOVE me some potatoes! All kinds of potatoes – baked, mashed, smashed, fried, roasted, and on and on and on. These air fryer roasted potatoes quickly became one of my favorites!
I really didn’t fully understand the air fryer hype. The last thing I wanted was one more appliance sitting on the counter. Most models are bulky and quite frankly, kind of ugly. But not the Bagotte air fryer! It fits right into my very cool kitchen. Love it!
Let’s get to the air fryer roasted potatoes. I’ve got an amazing roasted potato recipe here that I spent years perfecting. It is labor-intensive and time-consuming, but SO delish! I was reluctant to adapt my recipe to the air fryer.
Ha!! All I can say is… wow! So quick and easy and absolutely as delicious as my original roasted potato recipe. And only 15 minutes in the air fryer. Truly amazing!
How to make air fryer roasted potatoes
Making air fryer roasted potatoes couldn’t be easier! Dice up some red or yellow potatoes and an onion. Put in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and pop in your air fryer basket. Cook for 15 min, tossing halfway. (FULL RECIPE BELOW).
That’s it! Gone are the days of parboiling, soaking, or pre-treating your potatoes in any way just to get that perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside texture.
Air fryer roasted potatoes really do come out perfect every time. And it takes virtually no work and about 1/4 the time I used to spend on making perfect potatoes. Whew…. thanks Bagotte for making such an amazing machine! (Love the touchscreen and knob control combo!)
And don’t stop with just potatoes! Try some air fryer Brussels sprouts and creamy air fryer mac and cheese (Yes you read that correctly! Mac and cheese!) Yum!
I know so many of you have an air fryer! Woohoo! Definitely put these roasted potatoes at the top of your list.
And if you’re even later to the air fryer game than I was, I suggest it might be time to jump on the bandwagon. You won’t be sorry!
