So I’ve compiled a list of my 10 Must-Have RV Kitchen Accessories to make it easy for you. These are all products that I use and love and there’s a little something for everyone. You can find all of these items here on my Amazon Store Page or just click each individual picture to get there!

What Should I Put In My RV Kitchen?

It’s tempting to buy everything you come across when you first get your RV, but that could be a mistake. Stuff takes up space. And space is a precious commodity in the RV world.

So I’ve narrowed this list down to my Top 10 Items I use in my RV kitchen. I’ll be making another post about “nice to haves” for RV kitchen accessories in the future so stay tuned for that one too!

Camping Kitchen Essentials

Coffee Maker – Gotta have coffee. And I’ve tried every type of coffee maker out there! I do like to keep it easy when camping, so I keep a couple different kinds in my RV kitchen. A drip maker for when we’re plugged in or power isn’t an issue. And a pour over pot for when we’re on very limited power. Here are my two favorites.

  • The Black and Decker 12 cup with insulated thermos (I love the insulated thermos part!)
  • Melitta Pour Over – for those nice and quiet mornings. No generator. No inverter. Just peace and quiet.

Large Ice Cube Silicone Trays – These are essential for ice cold beverages that aren’t watered down. (Check out my video here to see and hear all about them!)

A really good knife – You don’t need a whole block of them. Just one good one will do! I use this one every single day!

Lightweight Cutting Board – You really only need one, but if you’re the type who likes to use one for meats and the other for everything else, then by all means, get two!

ZipTop Reusable ContainersThese are my absolute favorite item! One of the best RV kitchen accessories I can reccoment! Very versatile and sturdy, plus they stand up on their own so pouring soups, sauces and leftovers into it is now a one person job! Definitely check them out!

All in One Spice Container – This one’s a real space-saver. I love how convenient it is to grab that container and just pick which spice I need at the time. And they last a really long time!

Non-Breakable Dishware – I’m not a fan of eating off plastic, paper, or styrofoam so this was one of my first purchases when we bought our first RV many years ago!

Reduce Can Insulators – These will keep your bottled and canned drinks cold for hours. They can even hold tall, thin cans like seltzer drinks! One of the best purchases I’ve made for sure!

Nesting Mixing Bowls – It’s all about saving space and having RV kitchen accessories that serve multiple purposes and these mixing bowls do all that and more! I use them for cooking, serving, and even marinating meats. Very versatile for sure. I particularly like the ones with the pour spout.

Instant Pot Mini – I HIGHLY recommend getting the 3 quart version of this amazing appliance. It will save you tons of time in the RV kitchen. You’ll be making beans from scratch, fabulous rice, and even the best ribs you’ve ever had! (And if you do get one, then you should check out my Instant Pot Authorized “Cooking With Your Instant Pot Mini” Cookbook! 🙂 )
