While still at home, dice tomatoes and mince red onion, garlic and jalapeno. Chop cilantro and add all ingredients to a zip top bag. Sprinkle in salt and pepper and mix well. Add lime juice and seal carefully for transport to the campsite.
At campsite, dice ripe avocados into a bowl. Smash avocados with a fork until slightly chunky. Add contents of zip top bag and mix well. Add additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy your delicious but easy camping snack!
