Sous Vide Infused Vodka – Habanero Blast!

  1. Pour vodka into a gallon sized zip top freezer bag (don’t spill it and don’t throw away the bottle!) Add 1-2 habanero peppers that have been cut into quarters. Get rid of all the air in the bag using the displacement method and zip the bag closed. Remove bag from water.
  2. Place sous vide circulator in large pot full of water and set the temperature to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. When the temperature has been reached, clip zippered bag inside the pot, ensuring the bag is submerged except for the zip top. Set timer for 90 minutes. When time is up, pour vodka and habaneros through a fine strainer into a measuring cup. Pour infused vodka back into the original vodka bottle and make sure to label it Habanero Infused Vodka!
