For bacon pieces – put bacon pack into the freezer for 20 minutes it will cut easily. Remove bacon from packaging and place entire pound on cutting board. Slice crosswise into 1/2 inch pieces.
Add bacon pieces to a hot skillet on medium high heat and saute for approximately 10 minutes until desired crispness. Drain on a paper towel.
For bacon strips – set oven to 425 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Put bacon strips on baking sheet very close together, but not overlapping. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, flipping once.
